The Galerie Claude Bernard was founded in 1957. Since its origin, the gallery has been known for its presentation of contemporary art, both in sculpture and in painting. In 2000, the gallery started to show photography with Henri Cartier-Bresson, followed by shows of Robert Doisneau, Martine Franck, and a group with “Un Quintet pour demain”.
In 2014, the gallery shows for the first time the works of Jean-Michel Fauquet.
During Photo Saint Germain, the gallery will exhibit a group show of photographers.
